Been on a mission recently to find the perfect location for patrons to visit and take classes. It seems as if there is a demand for it because people keep asking me if I have a local store where thay can shop and if I offer classes. It would be great to also offer a ladies night out and also give back to the community by offering the girl scouts projects in order to earn badges. Must be the old girl scout leader in me coming out lately. Can't wait to to begin teaching those who are eager to learn art and crafts again. Have decided on a location, now the fun part - renovations, painting, and setting up. Have to stay within buget and put the money in marketing. What I really could use right now is a few more art classes with Linda Ishee and sign up with Gerrol Beningo for his clay class. I need a few more forms of relaxation to promote inspiration!

Beadshak Art Craft Show,Gulfport, MS Sept. 25, 2009. Two days ago I pulled items from the kiln. The temp was cone 015. They were made from pink colored sea glass, blue coe90 glass and other various glass colors. The objects were glass sun sculptures and beautiful clear cheese trays. I still need to clean the glass crosses pulled from the small jewelry kiln. Maybe I will inspired enough this afternoon to paint. It takes a great deal more time and concentration to begin a painting...although once started...the process comes with ease. I am also due to create potterysoap trays and larger pieces. My soap bands should be in this week and I will need to wrap soaps. I have three upcoming events. The first and third weekends in Sept. and the third weekend in October.
I am keeping my fingers crossed for the Peter Anderson Festival. No word as of yet.
